Use Car Shades
Car shades can minimize interior damage from sunlight (due to UV) and heat. Ideally, parking in a covered car park will be the best solution. However we don’t all have covered car parks, so parking under a tree might work…except that it results in bird droppings covering your car and eating into the paintwork. Therefore…make it a habit to use a car shade to minimize the sun’s impact. You’ll also have a cooler car to step into on hot sunny days.
Car shades come in two basic types:
1. Those that you unfold and place on the front windshield and rear window, or
2. Pleated types that attach to the windscreens and rear window with suction cups.
So drive to the nearest petrol kiosk and get yourself a pair of car shades today. =)
